Edodontics
Endodontic treatment involves the removal of inflamed or necrotic tissues, as well as the removal of organic debris from the root canals, so that they can then be sealed with biocompatible materials.
The filling of the canals has the role of preventing the penetration of bacteria from the oral cavity or through the apical foramen. The canals are blocked with a biologically inert material and insoluble in tissue fluids, gutta-percha, a rubber compound. Gutta-percha cones are chosen according to the size of each channel, to fit perfectly. After the canal is closed, the access cavity is closed and sometimes a restorative work is required on that tooth.
Tooth decay is a disease that affects the teeth. Caries can be simple when it does not affect the dental pulp (nerve) or complicated when it causes irreversible changes in the tooth nerve that requires its removal. Dental caries can affect both the health of the oral cavity and its aesthetic appearance. But even if some are very inconspicuous, if you still notice small tooth fractures or small cavities, you experience a toothache, you must consult a dentist in order to offer you the best solution to your problem.
The treatment of caries involves removing the unhealthy dental test and replacing it with a synthetic material.
